SDA leads CEE region in remote programming courses
According to a report published by Just Join IT, the shortage of programmers in Poland is around 50,000 vacancies. Our portfolio company Software Development Academy is actively working to alleviate it, offering its customers courses in the most popular programming languages.
Initially, the company’s activities focused on organizing classroom courses and programming camps. With the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic and the restrictions caused by it, the company and its CEO, Michal Mysiak faced a huge challenge. Their response was swift and involved a change in the business model; the company shifted to hosting courses remotely.
Over the past few quarters, the company has been intensively developing the remote learning channel, which is positively reflected in its financial health and solid business growth rate (2018-2021 was almost 60% CAGR), and we are confident that the updated development vision will still show great potential.
