“Fear is a much stronger motivator than the vision of a potential success.”
COVID-19 forces entrepreneurs to implement quick changes and to make brave decisions. Until today, SDA – an ARIA portfolio company – trained future programmers mainly in the course of local trainings, but when restrictions were announced on 13 March, it responded immediately, commencing its transformation.
“Fear is a much stronger motivator than the vision of a potential success”, say Michał Mysiak, CEO of SDA, in an interview with “Forbes”.
Within the matter of hours after information on restrictions became available, the entire SDA team started to work intensively on moving activity to online mode. In 12 hours, a company of 120 people, operating in several countries, switched to remote operation. The same happened to the telephone sales department. In the next 48 hours, the entire business model reorganization concept was developed.
